ホンドオコジョはイタチ科の肉食獣です。生息地域は本州の中部から北部にかけた高山です。ホンドオコジョに会えるととてもラッキーです。オコジョは準絶滅危惧種［NT］として登録されている希少動物なのです。

The Hondo-okojo, or Mustela erminea nippon, is a carnivorous animal of the weasel family that lives in the high mountain areas from the central part of Japan's mainland northward. We would be lucky if we met them in the mountains because Hondo-okojo is a rare animal registered as a near-threatened species (NT) on the Red List.
